Makeup never looks the same on anyone. Every person has their own unique features and their own beautiful characteristics. I have always thought that doing makeup tutorials on my skin tone, which is light to medium and neutral toned, wasn’t always reaching everyone because not every woman looks the same way as I do or has the same skin tone.
I am so excited to be bringing you this post, because it gives women from a large variety or backgrounds and skin tones to see what a certain type of makeup look would look like on four different skin tones.
The other ladies that I have asked to participate in this with me are absolutely gorgeous, and absolutely different, which is awesome. 🙂 We are going to be doing this type of post during each season, so make sure to SUBSCRIBE and stay tuned for winter’s makeup look in a few months.

One Makeup Look on Four Different Skin Tones
The makeup look that we all tried to recreate is some type of brown in the crease, champagne color on the lid, and a brownish/dark lip. Obviously, we are all going to have to use different shades of eyeshadow depending on our skin tones, and that is what makes this post so unique and fun!
Cajun here, back again for another makeup challenge from Joanna! I swear she has me really stepping out of my comfort zone and I’m loving it! I feel like I have a legit reason to play with makeup 🙂 So Joanna told me brown and champagne eye makeup and a dark matching lip, then sent me her photos (the next skin tone down) as inspiration. Because I have a fair neutral skin tone, with a lot of red undertones, I have to usually use warm red colors. Yellow based colors look super yellow on my pink skin and cool tones usually look like grey dirt. So as much as I love Joanna’s look, it won’t work for me.

I am obsessing over this look right now and loving these color combos for fall. I used a lot of cool toned shades in the look since I was going for this rich chocolate lip color.
*This color is sold out everywhere, so instead try the same brand in Vanity for a more deep violet look or to stay deep brown, try Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick in Maximum Mocha.
