Lauren is a dear friend of mine who is 5 years in remission, and is celebrating her six-year mark since diagnosis and treatment this month. Strong Girl Collective is working this month to empower women to be aware of their bodies, and show stories of strength from women who have gone through this terrible disease. This interview with a cancer survivor, a strong and amazing woman who I am blessed to call a friend, is one that will lift you up and hopefully bring a bit of strength to those of you going through a hard time. “You have cancer”.
