It is almost the end of November, and we are well into holiday time. Christmas parties will start soon (if they haven’t already) along with family gatherings and time with friends. We all want fun makeup for all of these holiday events, which is why we have put together this holiday makeup look that is done on four different skin tones, so you can find the look that will suit you the best!
Our fall makeup look on different skin tones was such a fun post, and it really got some great responses. We would love to keep doing these throughout the various seasons and holidays, so make sure that you subscribe to stay update when new versions of this post come out.
One Holiday Makeup Look on Four Skin Tones
The look that we were all aiming for is a green glam eyeshadow look with a nude lip color. This totally ranges based on skin tone and preference on color, but all of these options are perfect for the holiday season.
Fair: When Joanna suggested green, the old me was nervous. But the new makeup-lover me was excited about the challenge, so I started looking for inspiration. I new green would really stand out against my red hair, so I decided to really embrace it. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit my ultimate inspiration was full on Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, but without looking like I was going to a Halloween Party. I opted for no wing or liner so the green could really stand out, but I did use tape to create a sort of faux wing look with the deepest green.

Light: For this look, I wanted to use a deep emerald green with some champagne/gold glitter to really make it pop. For my skin tone and eye color (brown), greens are some of my favorite colors to use, although I don’t wear them enough. I paired this with a cool-toned nude lip and topped it off with some gloss to really complete the entire look.
You can see from the different photos that the shadow looks different in each light: shadows versus direct and bright sunlight. I think this look would be beautiful for a holiday party or a special event this upcoming holiday season.

Medium: Autumn wanted to make her look a little bit brighter to really make her tan skin and her eyes pop. The bright green color from the Morphe palette really gives a beautiful green pop to the lid, while still keeping it totally festive and appropriate for the holiday season.
I love the way that it looks on her! Gorgeous, as always:)

Deep: Samantha is our deep skinned beauty, and she chose to do a deeper emerald green look with a glossy lip. She simplified it by using no liner, which really makes the colors speak for themselves. The contrast is beautiful with dark eyes, and that inner corner highlight though… STUNNING!
A huge thanks to the gorgeous ladies that join in on these posts, and strike a pose with their own versions of these looks.
